Dear Parents:
This week in school is our wellness week. The students will be learning about the five food groups and also how they can exercise in and out of school. As a class we will be working on many different projects that relate to having a healthy lifestyle. We would love for you to be a part of our adventure while learning about staying healthy. Over the next three days help your child keep a chart of what they eat and return it to class on October 10, 2007. When the charts are returned to class the children will post the healthy foods they have eaten during those three days here on our class blog and will determine how these foods have helped them to lead a healthier lifestyle. We hope that this project will be an enjoyable and educational experience not only for the children here at school but also at home.

"Health Week"
During our "health week" we will be learning about the five food groups, exercising daily, and keeping track of what we eat. Each child will discuss their "healthy" snacks at the end of the week. We will also discuss what activities as a class we can participate in that will keep us healthy. Hope everyone enjoys their "health week."
